Methods to Create a Conversion Friendly Site.

Boosting the conversion rate of your website isn't something that can't be achieved; there are many simple looking sites out there that are very conversion friendly even though they aren't doing much. If you're looking for ways to make more sales and conversions from your visitors, start applying the following tips.

Is Your Website Too Crowded: Many sites turn off visitors unwittingly by not having enough white space. Without enough white space, a site will have an overcrowded look that isn't pleasing to most viewers. You want the items on your pages to be easy for people to see, so you may want to create some additional space for better balance. A web page is made up of many elements, and you want all of these to blend together in a way that's appealing. Your goal should be to have a website that makes a positive impact on visitors, as this is what will convert them into buyers. Besides that, how you convert your visitors into sales/leads not only depends on your execution of the design, but also about how interested you get them. You may not always convert people when they first land on your site, but you may be able to persuade them to return. Maintain the Same Feel: The kind of feel that you have throughout your website can be because of the colors you use, the fonts you chose, etc. You should try and maintain the same elements throughout your website so that you are able to get your visitors comfortable with the feel of your site. If you have one design on one of your pages, another design on another page and still another on another, it makes you look very unprofessional and your site visitors are just going to get confused. The user interface on your site should be predictable and the rest of your site needs to make your visitors want to stay on your page. Even though this might not really change your conversion rate in a significant way, it will help in the long run when you get all sorts of traffic. Ultimate what matters is the fact that you are putting in honest and regular effort to grow your conversion rate (or at least keep it level).

Using Relevant Images: Your website isn't the new circus in town, rather it should be looked at as a relevant place for your target audience to find the right solutions.

This is exactly why you should be careful when using images on your website; don't use any cheesy images that you think would look well on your site. The focus needs to be on relevancy which means every image should be relevant and in line with the interests of your target audience. The ability for visitors to identify with what you are selling and so they feel comfortable on your site is the main reason to insert images in a webpage. "Dog Training", then a graphic of the eCover would be a great image to include on the website.

Making your site more conversion friendly is a matter of finding every possible area where a change is in order, such as the factors we've looked at here. The most successful websites aren't static -the owners are always tweaking and testing different approaches to find out what converts best. You shouldn't hesitate to do everything you can that might improve your conversions, as even minor changes can add up to have a major effect on your results. Soon you'll find that some tactics work and some don't, but the ones that do will make up for all the effort you put in.
