So to save me having to keep repeating myself I thought that it would be a good idea to answer all these questions within an article.
To gain a top ranking can often take a little time and a far amount of patience. As long as you are promoting the site in the right way as described below and as long as your site has been designed/built in the correct manner and is being maintained then you will not go far wrong. At the end of the day it will mainly depend on how competitive the key phrase or keyword is.
With web promotion it is important to stick to some real basics. Firstly you need to establish the main key phrases that you would like to rank well for. There are tracker type tools and SEO software that can help you with this task. Please remember that you don't always have to purchase the best SEO software, keep a close eye on your budget.
Once you have chosen the key phrases it is then prudent to make sure they they appear within the content of the page you are promoting and within the coding of the page.
It is then all about the power of one way links. To obtain these backward links you could write articles in a similar way as to what I am doing here - possibly via using an article writing service or by using a one way link building service.
It is then important to keep up to date with any changes that happen within the SEO world.
Just remember that the one way links are the essentials here therefore do not spend all day in the forums or reading through SEO reviews.
