Increase your website link connections. Make them relevant and at least the same page rank as you.
Choose file names with your keywords, and will tell the viewers who you are. Don't name your page with something like new_page_1.HTML because you are not taking advantage of an SEO opportunity. Use names that describe the content and keep the keywords flowing.
Check your Title tags. Put to good use the 90-100 character keywords in your page title. We know Google looks at them, and so do many more search engines.
Look also at your ALT tags. Remember that searchbots can't recognize pictures and images. Your pictures therefore must be ALT tagged, with the tags containing your keywords and giving a clear description.
Get the most out of your URL (anchor) tags. Good anchor tags (the text between the HTTP: and /a tags) reinforce the message and key words of your site.
Join forums and be sure to name your website in your signature. Forums are very useful for putting one way links. Plus you will be doing somebody a favor in the process.
Put together a text based sitemap and put it on your site. SEO spiders have limited recognition capabilities, and will not be able to read java and javascript, forms, flash, etc. Making a readable sitemap will enable the bots to find their way around the site.
