Is it Preferable to Create Mini Sites or Authority Sites?

There has been a lot of discussion over which types of sites are better for marketers: authority sites or mini sites. Yet Google seems to have come up with a deciding factor that could end the debate once and for all. Yet recently the attention mini sites have received from Google seems to be nearing an end. The last couple of times Google has updated their ranking algorithms, it seems as though the authority sites are taken more seriously. This is Google's way of attempting to provide their users with more relevant content in search results. Despite this, a mini site still has its place in your marketing efforts. You must be able to execute well and with skill when you decide to use any of the many approaches in your web business.

You can rattle off any number of strategies used, Street Smart Profits - that is a randomly chosen tool many people like. It is always a smart move to ask your self if there is any way you are not doing something as well as it can be accomplished.

The ideal is to continue learning, improving, expanding and marketing in diverse methods as much as possible. Everything you will ever do in business does not exist in isolation and draws from different directions.

Our point to all of this? Be different and optimize your marketing and advertising campaigns through, usually, A/B split testing.

Many marketers prefer to work within a tightly focused segment of the market known as a niche. There is no shame in this at all. In some circles this very specifically defined segment of the market is referred to as a micro-niche. For these very targeted marketers, mini sites perform much better than authority sites. Mini sites are an excellent tool for taking over the top search engine spots for one or two highly focused keywords. That is, of course, assuming that competition for these keywords isn't overcrowded. However, it is possible to target these micro-niches within authority sites. If this isn't appealing to you though a mini site remains a solid choice.

If you want to please Google, you have to stay current with its latest algorithms, the formulas it uses to rank sites based on quality and other factors. In 2010, they have made it more and more apparent that they do like authority sites, and they do not hide their disdain for "thinner" sites; much like the mini site. Just as Adwords users have to pay more per click if their site is given a low quality score, if you want to rank, you'll have a harder time if your site is labeled thin or not valuable. You can still do something with SEO and mini sites, but you will have to work harder at it. The SEO you did would not get you the same results it would have gotten you before this year. We can't change how Google ranks sites, so we have to live with it. We do know people in business who seem to have a closed mind when it comes to something new such as a method for marketing or advertising, and they are leaving a lot of money behind as a result. We suppose many people are close-minded in matters like this because maybe they are arrogant or simply go through life like that. Obviously we have no clue how you feel concerning Push Button SEO Bonus, or if you would ever even think about trying it. There really is no substitute for solid homework, and that is one thing that can prevent a lot of heartache if it prevents you from going down the wrong path.

In fact, it is those who skip over their homework who are at most risk and for obvious reasons. There are those who will sell you just about anything while telling you it is some undiscovered method that not too many know about yet, those should be alarms. What causes possible problems is that it all is mixed together, the good with the bad, and you have to figure out which is which. Always seek to validate anything you read, and that is they only path to protecting your self. It is just like locking your car every time you park it, maybe it will never prevent something but one day years from now it could.

When you consider how much effort it takes to build an authority site, you also have to realize that the potential gains are greater as well.

If you have lots of products for sale on an authority site, visitors can choose among many different pages or other options you have to offer. There's no reason to think your visitor will only look at one of your pages, if your site is well constructed and full of quality content. So there are more opportunities to make a conversion of whatever you have on your site. Authority sites give you more possible ways to profit from each visitor than a smaller site such as a mini site.

As we have seen, when deciding between authority sites and mini sites, there's no simple solution. One popular approach is to look to Google for guidance and follow whatever it dictates. You can't really ignore Google, of course, but it also makes sense to implement tactics that don't depend on this one company as well. You may want to experiment with both types of sites and see which brings you better results. Rest assured, you have just received an introduction about these techniques. It is precisely these types of http://www.robselaney.com/article-ranks-review methods that have found their way into the business bags of tricks of many successful marketers. There is always much more in-depth knowledge to be found, and there can sometimes be a substantial amount depending on what it is.

For those who are not as aggressive or as confident as others, be wary of hiding behind all the ebooks and courses.

It is not as hard as it may seem, and all you need to do is start doing one thing each day until it becomes a routine. When you are working on your business, you need to be creating something toward that end or actively engaged in marketing activities.
