We have seen videos that play automatically, no controls to stop it and we immediately leave the site. Usability and design go hand in hand, and that is why we mention this point about audio.

Can you drive your visitors away with your colors alone? Yes, you can, so this is something you will need to get some deeper knowledge about. Choose the colors that go well with each other, and then match the colors with the mood you want to evoke. Do not just wing it and choose the colors you think are cool as that will usually not work out well. As always, you do need to remove your feelings if you are not a part of that audience or market. Things like proper color are all collectively the things you have to address properly.
